I was fit. Training hard, running regularly, by any outward measure in good shape. Then, out of nowhere, my morning runs started leaving me short of breath. Some chest pain too. I ignored it for weeks — until I finally saw my GP, who told me to get to the ER immediately.
They ran blood tests, ran the standard checks. Everything came back fine. No heart attack, nothing acute. They were about to send me home. Then someone decided to run a stress echo first — and a few minutes in, they pulled me off the treadmill and told me I had a 98% blockage in my widow maker artery. It could have killed me at any moment. I needed a stent immediately.
What made it worse was realising I'd had blood panels done before, through my GP, more than once. Nothing was ever flagged. Reviewed in isolation, each individual result sat inside a "normal" range. But normal isn't the same as optimal — and a single snapshot can't show you a trend. Looking back at those same results side by side, the trajectory was there the whole time. Nobody was looking for it, because nobody was tracking it.
That gap — between a one-off panel that gets a tick of approval, and the actual pattern building underneath it — is what atry health co exists to close. I'm not interested in another service that hands you a PDF and disappears. I'm interested in people catching what I didn't: not by guessing, but by tracking biomarkers against truly optimal ranges, over time, so a trend reveals itself months before it becomes a 98% blockage.
atry health co is built on that research. The Biomarker Review Report is the direct result — the service I wish had existed before that day in the ER.
I have spent over a decade operating international consumer brands — including Modern Pirate, a premium men's grooming brand distributed globally. That commercial discipline and evidence-driven approach shapes everything atry builds.
